NDIS 1:1 Clay Workshops

$110.00

Curious about including pottery sessions in your NDIS plan?

I offer private, 1:1 pottery workshops for NDIS participants at my beautiful home studio in Aldinga Beach, South Australia.

Working with clay is calming, grounding, and joyfully messy. Through the process of hand-building or wheel work, we slow down, play, and create — building not only beautiful pieces, but also capacity and confidence.

Pottery workshops can support:
• Increased social and community participation
• Broadened relationships
• Improved mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing

🌿 What’s included

In our time together, you’ll learn the basics of pottery, either on the wheel or hand-building. We prepare the clay, shape a form and decorate with carving once it’s leather-hard. I then take care of the glazing and firing (or, in longer programs, you can join in the finishing process).

Recommended number of session

One session → Make a piece, and I’ll complete the trimming, glazing, and firing
Two sessions → Work with wet clay, then return to trim/refine once leather-hard
Six or more sessions → Create a small collection, decorate, glaze, and follow the full pottery journey start to finish

📅 Availability

Mondays available.
Saturdays waitlist (currently full with group classes).

💬 NDIS funding

These sessions can be claimed under:
Core Supports → Assistance with Social & Community Participation (Line Item: 04_104_0125_6_1)

Please chat with your plan manager or support coordinator to confirm how you can include this in your plan.
